Title: Standard mk4 gti t bhp gains

Hi all i have a 1999 standard golf gti t. Looking to get a remap next month just wondering what bhp increase to expect, and any other gains from it also how much about will it cost me thanks

You should see 180bhp(ish), as for cost speak to one of the forum sponsors.

What mileage is your car? It is also worth remembering that a decent mapper will not map your car if it is not in suitable condition, it's a good idea to give it a service before hand and make sure you have no boost leaks. Also scanning for fault codes is a good idea.

It's also worth investing in a Forge d/v, either 007p or 008p and a performance air filter. Sometimes the MAF can give up shortly after mapping as well :wink:
