Good old 1.6 gearbox has leaked in to my clutch, anybody know how to change the seal as oil has leaked in to the clutch! woop woop! :sick:

ordered a new seal! see what happens once ive replaced that, ball ache.com im driving a ford ka in the mean time ha

Just wanted to make sure it wasnt engine oil. How do you know its gear oil? Have you done the sniff test?

No it's a 1.6 gearbox, a hole punctured in the gearbox casing due to a sheared rivet on the differential!
I need a 1.8t haha. Replacing gearbox today just waiting for the part. Good job it's pay day! Urgh

Not the sheered differential rivet syndrom otherwise known as sdrs? That was a commom mk3 gearbox issue aswell :sick:
