Title: my golf gti 8v now with vento front....

hi all time has come where i can start working on the golf. only had it for a couple of month which i won on ebay for £455. it only had 81k on it when i got it so was happy an only had 4 owners from new.

got a lot of plane for it but only just got back in to work so needing to get money sorted first. have only had chance so far to do rear brakes an have just been busy doing cam belt,drive belt,powerstreeing belt,water pump,thermostat, spark plugs,pollen filter,air filter.

body work is in ok con with only a couple of rust blem. going to drop it on its arse new wheels change the full front end an get new seat etc.

nice tidy looking car mate looks lower than mine already and mines standard lol,just started my own dubride only couple of days ago aswell

just to let ya all no car is up for sale as dont have time for it an dont wont it to rot a way plus not even driver it at the mo  :sad: will be back with another vw soon but just need to be done. is posted in sale sec.  :sad:

right peeps the car is staying well for now  :grin:. hopefully will be getting it sorted this weekend plus hopefully picking up some coilovers an ventofront as well so more pic will be added once iv got them  :smiley:

right time has come for some work to be done on car, been down to oxford 2 day to pick up so new coilover with topmount for £155 an pick up a vento front end of anther lad down there for £90 so am now having to save up agen to get so new wheels an a spray job.

right rear coilover are on but just having probs getting front top nut off so am going to take it round to a garage to morrow an see if they can get it off with the air gun. here a couple of pics what iv done today.

cheers mate. well front coilover r now on thank to the vw garage in malvern who got my top mount nut off earlyer. she is now sitting nicely now bit low at front after taken her for a gd drive out for a hour half lol. might need to lift it as scraped on drive way. here more pics lol will get some better one of how she is sitting on nite this week.  :cool:

hay all not really done much to the golf lately as been really busy with work plus had to get head sorted but when i put it in garage to get sorted they done there test on it an told me head was not gone??? car is running fine now but still is getting really hot but not over heating so change thermostat agen but still the same. even the garage could not find out why?.

just going to have to keep looking in to it an see if i can find what it is. have only got a couple of thing done like finely got round to de-wipering  the back an matt blacked bonnet untill i can get the rest of car resprayed. here a couple of pic.

bonnet could still do with another coat but just need some more free time to finish it off.
