hello;
i have an AUM 1.8t engine whith managment light oni got the mechanic to change one of the oxygen sensors and he said they was the wrong way round but i told him not to change it this is the sensor on bank 2 after cat http://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-Golf_IV--1.8T/Engine/Emission/Oxygen_Sensor/ES258802/
and on bank 1 this http://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-Golf_IV--1.8T/Engine/Emission/Oxygen_Sensor/ES892/
please can someone tell me if these are the wrong way round please so i can get decent mpg again

Got virtually brand new Bosch after cat sensor if need one ony done about 20miles. Wrong diagnosed and wouldn't take back.

They look right to me. I have the same one pre-cat as that picture.

My cars a AUM and sure my pre cat not same as on that pic, will check tomorrow though, one thing you'll know that pre cat sensor has prtective heat foil on loom other hasn't.

What is the fault code?

The pre cat lambda has a bigger plug, I know this from sorting mine the other week.
