What tosh.

A project can be complete, but it might need a bunch of welding.

That's just a very expensive mistake looking to happen to someone.

Id atleast want the doors boot n such. Engine id find somat to put in there. Cant b many doors kikin bout for these

so its not complete then if it needs bits doing i.e welding  :undecided:

Mk1 scirocco parts are not exactly plentiful either, could take years to source the parts to put that back together.

Fair enough, at least he'll have plenty of sleepless nights to spend trawling through ebay for rocco parts.. :grin:

Ideally you want another rotten but complete 'rocco to transfer all the parts over from. That's a serious undertaking to get that back on the road without at least a few choice donor components.

I have spied a fairly local mk1 scirocco that buzzes around with a tatty shell which I am going to try to buy. This would be ideal!

Be nice if the seller stated what year it was :rolleyes: needs acid dipping, and probably all the welding work done again.

Edit, just spotted that its 1980, no god for me then...
