Title: A new chapter MK3 v Mk4

I prefer the mk4 esp an r32 becaise it looks prettier and comes in nicer colours and has more space to put my lip gloss  :evil:

they're all too heavy to have any real performance, but then again the turbo'd gti's... :D
R32 is nice though for a more sensible choice.

its a tuff comparison this... but i think mk4 wins it due to the r32 v64motion gti t anni etc

AS a mk3 driver il have to go mk3, just like the way it looks when modded, the mk4 looks like so many other cars on the road and iv seen too many with big jap stylee exhausts and porsche turbo badges on. however, the engines in the mk4 are quality and as soon as the pennies allow im goin to get one. Think the 1.8t will be the one...

...one day...

Just kidding - Has to be the R32 for me, just for the engine. Not sure abpout the styling though. They both look a bit too euro boxish to me. The mk1's and 2's had character that has been lost over the years.

uh oh, its all gonna go pear shaped.

Tbh R32 all the way, a great engineered car, 4wd, and sits just the way it should. AND 3.2 litres of V6 grunt sounds like a perfect combi to me. Although i want to see the R34 and R36s that are romoured to be appearing in the next year or two.

There was meant to be a R34 at pod the weekend after Gti festival.

The problem with all the V6 4motions is that they seem to have a lot of gremlins from the people i have spoken too that have had them, and work on them. I.E. if the engine doesn't go then then electronics do and if they don't the drivetrain does, etc etc.

I think the outcome is going to be pretty biased towards the R32 tbh, its just that colour... mmm R32 Blue.  :cool: :cool:

i drive a mk 4 gti and mine is pants...... wont be buying another, dosnt mean i hate it or prefer the mk3...

yeah r32 very nice and yeah 4wd, but if i had pound notes...........bmw m3 evo coupe (98 ish)...... sorry folks...........

but the more i have a play in my mates the more i need/want/sell my kids for etc...... lol 320 odd bhp standard, 6 speed, seats to die for and arse end out action..... still german i spose..... ill still have a vw in the fold somewhere (namely a 16v mk2 , if anyone knows whos got my old one let me know please!!!!)

lovin them nobles too, but im still needing a 5 seater when the mk4 goes, and with m3 evo having 5 belts.... that will do me sir!
