Title: mk4 1.6 16v is this a limited edi.

I have mk4 1.6 16v se. is it normal for a X reg [2000] shes a beast with full power flow stainless with int kit pushing out 117bhp. but is it normal to have climet control and gti intieror with gti alloy wheels is this a 25th ani??? and if has cam belt or chain driven???

ah sorry to piss on your fire mate but its not an anni as they only come in 1.8t or diesel pd150 and dont think they made a limited edition 1.6  :smiley: someone has done some modifying to it mate  :wink:

it got me cofused dot com. would it be east to change to climet control if it's beed played with could this explain why she go's quiker than my mk3 gti  ?????

Sure its climate control and not A/C.
Climate might have been a optional extra can't see anyone fitting it as its a ball ache to install

yer thats what it says its not a/c. its somthing u dont get in 1.6 as standed is it what dose it come standed in???

Are you sure it's a 1.6? Post a pic of the engine, it wouldn't be the first time that someone has been sold a dodgy car with the wrong engine in :lipsrsealed:

Sounds like someone ticked a couple of the options boxes and then other owners have fitted other bits and bobs

Anniversary's weren't released until 2002 and only came with the crap 1.8T engine and the mighty 1.9 TDI diesel engine  :evil: :laugh: :laugh:

a 1.6 with 117bhp, that is a beast.

I can see this turning out to be a a dodgey 1.6 with a 2.0 stuck in and a k&n filter lol

How do you know its got 117bhp? Been Dynoed? I'm fairly Sure 1999 + have 110bhp and the 1998 ones have 105bhp. So maybe claiming 7bhp from the exhaust. My first 1.6 had climate control is just an additional extra.
