it all started i drove down a slip road got to around 60mph and i hit a fox and had a nice blood covered grill and number plate  then i was driving home at around 1am this morning and a deer runs out in front of me and bam its dead and i sh!t myself just imagining the damage to front of my car
but because its a VW and german build quality is the best all that happened was indicator and reflector lenses smashed and the lower bumper vent smashed.
my bumper looks like its sagging a bit do you think it just needs taking off then put back on as the impact moved it a bit ??
-
pics of the dead animals or GTFO

il find one of the fox and i didnt take one of deer as phone doesn't have flash :( sh!tty blackberry

muuuurrrddeeerrrrrreeerrrr

You need to learn to swerve. The support beam the bumper mounts too may be slighly bent causing the sagging. Lot of force involved hitting a deer I imagine.
-
it was a baby deer  so helped a little bit

Not that I'm aware, you just can't take it home, anyone else that comes across it can take it home, just not the person who hit it.

I hit a deer in chelmsford :lipsrsealed:
wrote the front end off a brand new hired transit van.

REDRUM REDRUM REDRUM

The worst is when you haven't quiet killed the poor creature and you have to reverse get a bag stick over the head and break its neck to stop it suffering had to do it many times and its just better than leaving the poor thing in pain for hours! :lipsrsealed:

There was a chap in the news the other day who wrote of his Testarossa when he swerved to avoid a Hedgehog, caught some wet leaves and BAM!
And there was a guy an a golf who drove for 50 miles iirc with a live duck in his grill. The duck survived and is now convalescing.
Foot down, plough on through I say.

So does the old highway code doesn't it?

Yeah, it says if it's not safe to avoid it, hit it.
