Pics are fine, only if your posting loads its better to scale them down a bit so the page doesn't take three weeks to load up.
Kind of mleage is on that? Whats your plans for mods then?

evening all not a lot done lately lost a little love for it ,buttttt finally changed my rocker cover gasket that had been in the boot for quite some time and fitted my highline centre console.still havent got round to unwrapping my black abc pillars but might just do that this weekend lol
-
Tidy looking car buddy, looks nice in mystic blue :)
-
cheers mate ,its alrite but slowly starting to show its age,got the dreaded rust at the bottom of the drivers wing just havent removed the arch yet ,but one of the jobs for the weekend
-
I picked up my new 16v the other week, and the first thing I did was strip off all the arches and sill trims to check for rust! Pleased to say I found hardly any :) which is very rare for mk3's nowadays. I also had the arch liners out and cleaned out all the crap that collects at the bottom of the wings. Definately worth doing sooner rather than later!
-
cheers dan been toying with getting rid and getting a 16v myself, one near me same coulour 5 door still and 2 owners from new ,but hmmmm decisions decisions, whats the difference insurance wise mate ?
-
Shop around and you'll find little or no difference in insurance costs. I've even heard of people swapping from an 8v and paying less!

My vr6 is cheaper to insure than both GTi's for some reason... but lets face it, its more expensive on the long (and short) run
-
cheers people ,gonna have to do some internet browsing lol
-
decided it was time i took off the throttle body and cleaned it properly today and ,was amazed how dirty it was the other side as have cleaned it a few times wothout taking it off ,will give it a whirl in a bit
-
Thought it was time for a bit of an update ,not a great deal done lately as been on hols but the car got a nice service before we left, oil and filter ,coolant .All the usual stuff, been building up some bits over last month or so and it would be rude not to put some pics up lol
Got hold of some colour coded bump strips a month or so ago but they wont be goin on till i get some subtle lows as its completely standard atm
(http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/r555/gtinovice/SAM_1073.jpg)
Also got another grill as mines got plenty of stone chips ,and the black abc pillars are still wrapped up as been deciding if i want to go all out and do the headlining
My new centre console
(http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/r555/gtinovice/SAM_1074.jpg)
And the leather door cards that ive had for ages but never took pics ,they was my bargain.Only cost me a tenner lol
(http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/r555/gtinovice/SAM_1075.jpg)
Still have my rx2's to refurb and some subtle lows at some point, but hols and other things had to come first
(http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/r555/gtinovice/mk36.jpg)
All comments and opinions always welcome ,cheers brett

thought it wasnt to bad for £15 and no more cds as it controls my ipod
also managed to get hold of a leather mk3 steering wheel as my standard wheel was wearing at the top
(http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/r555/gtinovice/SAM_1085.jpg)
thought i done well on this as only paid £10 ,so i was happy
starting to get the love back slowly so trying to crack on while i've got some motivation lol
-
well not a lot at all done lately as been undecided on what to do as its my first car ahhhhhh lol,but have come to the decision that its going up for sale soon as have my eye on something else ,so the steering wheel and centre console ,colour coded bump strips ,black abc pillars etc will be coming off to be sold seperately ,will take pics and list everything soon as ,
