Title: How much for black plastic thing on bottom of engine? (sh*t guard)

Anyone know how much they are from VW?

Mine is cracked to pieces nd falling off. So neednew one or go 2nd hand?

I'm waiting for the road to take it off  :grin: saves me doing it then lol

Thought it was better to have it as it will stop sh*t going up there  :undecided:

Don't say that. I have always replaced mine at great effort and anger. I think I posed a similar question about its purpose and I feel it doing good being there.

About £100 at vw! they pop up on ebay now and again.

Mine got ripped off at E38 2009.

i dont know if this is true but if you ake it off you get an extra 15bhp due to weight loss  :laugh:

Which bit do you need? Centre or sides ?
Centres are getting quite rare now haha

Mine didn't have a centre guard when I bought the car and I've nearly ripped the side parts off plenty of times now. If I lose them altogether so be it :laugh:
