Hi Guys,
Just wondering how many miles everyone gets from their valvers from a full tank of petrol. I get about 370 from reasonably sensible driving. Is this good/bad/indifferent?

thats f**king good  im happy if i get over 300 out of a tank, then again i did get 37mpg a while back when i was doing virtually nothing but m25 driving

I thought it was quite good aswell. I've only had her for a couple of months and was just wondering. I've recently cleaned the full fuel system, changed fuel filter and the car also has an ecotec valve. I'm sure that will be helping towards the economy.

i got 400 miles from £40 at 86.9 per litre thought that was ok.
four up too

Yeh, 350 to 370 seems about right, I fill the car up on payday each month and don't have to fill it up again until next payday. It seems that the golf has a magic fuel tank !! .. it's always full. Admitedly I walk to work and only use the car for the Gym and shopping.

My old golf i was lucky to get over 300......then again it was a 1.3 carb in very bad shape....... :undecided:
But 370 is good
