Title: Goodbye bedford, hello VW! got a few questions if someone can share some light ?

recently sold the corsa c and got myself a mk 4 gti.. which i am pleased about!

the clutch pedal moves side to side of what i will say a bit more than normal of what i was used to in the corsa? isit normal?

and if anyone has got a passenger seat trim ( closest to the handbrake ) as it catches the seat belt buckle.
