Not been on the forum for a long while mainly due to the fact I got a new company car at the end of November. My pan was to keep my 54 plate 2005 GTI in my mum's garage with a view to giving it my son when he's old enough or just hanging onto it just in case my employment prospects take a serious dip.
Anyway I've now come to the conclusion that selling it is probably the best option as the insurance premium for my son would be far too high to say the least and hopefully my jobs safe too :undecided:.
The question is, what's a reasonable price to ask for the car? I'm not greedy (must say I've looked at 1 or 2 on here which look a little ambitious!) and looking to shift it asap. Got a silly price from "we buy any car.com" but saying that at least I can shift it.
A few details
121,000 miles
Steel Grey
Full leather
FSH
Tax and MOT run out but would sort if required.

So as long as it's got a full history, I can't see no reason why you couldn't fetch around £5k for it.
