Title: fitted coillies today
Post by: dam088888 on 30 March 2012, 20:50
Fitted them happy with the front but rears are all the way down and want more lows lol. Someone said take out the rear helpers so just spring is in has anyone done this And how did it ride. Can't see how it would be much dif to standard as they just sit in

Loads of people have done it. It rides no differently to having them in just lowers it another 10-20mm.

That's adjuster taken off so it's just spring on now, only fitted 2 days ago so may settle in abit lower but I don't want it low just that the springs came with no adjusters so need to find away of hiring it abit.

Makes next to no difference to 16's. The circumference is almost identical.

My old mk4 on fk coilovers with the rear all the way down

My Wagon on Jom sports shocks and lowering springs

Out the 2 the Wagon with the Jom kit fitted drives alot better than my old mk4 its alot firmer ride and for what I want the correct ride height not to low so I dont have issues with the front ARB and everything else I had to sort on the front of my old mk4 like different drop links and new bushes etc.If I deceide to go lower with a coilover kit which I doubt I will but I would this time try a better quality kit and sort the front ARB out this time.
