Title: speedo digital display led voltage

Hi all,

i wanted to know the voltage of the leds that are inside well under the digital display in the speedo clock. I have seen some SMD's on ebay and they are rated from 1.1-2.2 v. I just wanted to know the max voltage im sure they are not 12v unless im wrong. I know kells might be able to tell me but his inbox is full lol.

They are bulbs with a green film not LED's  They are 12v  so you would need a 12v LED,  they do however sell them on ebay in the correct bulb holder so its a straight swap.

t10 twist bulbs if i remember correctly from doing mine standard white because as stated the green film is what changes the colour cheap enough i bought my bulbs in a batch of 10 for 3.99 i think i can link you to the bulbs you need if you want?

sorry people. its no the 2 twist lock bulbs im on about. im on about the SMDs under the 2 digital display units (shows milage & time)

Some units do have bulbs that light the LCD displays where as the later dial cluster units have the SMDs. Must be 12 volt SMDs I would have thought.

i have some at home ill check but think they are 12v


SMD chip leds are in all late clocks, anniversary and colour concepts for the Mileage and clock displays

much better brightness than the older bulb and filter types
