Title: smooth boot guys help
Post by: jockgti on 29 March 2012, 11:55
anybody out there with a smooth tailgate can help me,i'm looking at boot poppers but not sure on which is best, was looking at this one..
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Electric-boot-trunk-release-Door-Popper-KIT-EBRK-/360428683949?pt=UK_Car_Accessories_Safety_Security&hash=item53eb3942ad#ht_2045wt_1037

is that the kind of thing i'm after? did you guys fit yourselves or get auto electrician to fit or clever friend? cars going in next week and i assume it would be best to have this done prior to having the lock removed?

cheers

Best popper is . A solenoid from a petrol cap and a boot latch from a beetle . Then the solenoid will need wiring up . That's what I have in mine

If you can get hold of a Bora CCM you can use the boot popping function of a three button remot too
