Title: What grease shall I use for squealing Starter Motor?

Gonna attempt to rip the starter out soon, and just wondered what grease to use? My dads got all sorts, so wanna make sure I use the right stuff...

I would use lithium moly or something similar, to be honnest multi purpous would probably be ok.   I would be happy with M/purpous On the internal plantary gears.

If its a dsg theres stuff called life oil and you spray this grease on the flywheel ring gear and the end of the starter let me know and I can get the part number from work tommorow

Its a 1999 1.8t, not dsg
