Title: Speakers crackling

Hi, I have upgraded my headunit to an Alpine from the factory fitted, and now there is a slight crackle when turning the volume up to "quite loud" would it be beneficial to upgrade my speakers too? if so, any recomendations?

Fault lies in the volume control of the headunit!

But it is also a good move to upgrade the rubbish standard speakers.

yea check the wiring is ok. unless its a new car well the wiring is probably 10+ years old now so.
iv got some 17cm speakers which im upgrading from up for sale if interested :)
