its very bright here! i was going to go up the south downs with the father in law n get his camra and tripod out!

will be going tomorow!

theres to much light polution here to pick it up on iphone camra  :undecided:

Just looked outside and saw it. Couldn't see Jupiter as there's a building blocking the view. Saw the pleidades too, but they're very faint.

I love all this stuff although i don't really understand it really, i can HIGHLY recommend the "Go Sky Watch" app for the iphone, it's so easy to see Jupiter and Venus and you can even see that Mars has an orangey tint when you know what your looking for! :cool:

I'm not sure what the yellow spot is but it ain't no star!! :grin:

The other night Saturn, Jupiter, mars, Venus and the moon all came out to play..

If you have a telescope Jupiter and her moons are fantastic to look at.
