hey i have a 1.8t aum and the revs are all over the place onidle ive got a brand new maf on it so i dont think its that, its comming up camshaft sensor code, anyone had anything like this previously , any help would be much appreciated guys thankyou :)

camshaft sensor is just behind the cam belt cover, looks quite easy to get to and replace :smiley:

i was looking for it everywhere today lol,do you think this could cause the revs messing about???

i had that fault, but it ran fine / abit slower then normal.R-tec found it when they mapped my car.

my mate's experiencing this right now.. he keeps getting limp mode, would love to know if this is the cause.
