Great photos as ever Nick!

What camera/lens did you use?

Cheers.

All shot on my 400D using either the 50mm prime or Sigma 70-300.

The photos are so crisp and sharp, they look practically HD.  What's your secret?

I guess the crispness of the photos is down to a) getting it truly in focus, b) using decent lenses c) choosing the right f-stop to give you the right depth of field and then finally perhaps d) a little sharpening in photoshop.

Nice shots Nick.
Who's the steam buff?
I haven't been on a steam train for a couple of years now.
