I could well be swapping alloys with a mate, he has some OZ super turismos I think they are, they will need a refurb which can be had for ~£200. The tyres on them are pretty much brand new Enduro 912's or something like that, none branded budget tyres I think.
Where as on my I have worn paradas...I have had these tyres on my current alloys for about 8months and I think they are awesome and still have a 3mm of tread left but do I spend £xx (need to get a quote) to change all 8 of the tyres :undecided:, I am not sure if it worth it, or am I being savagely naive? Alsoooo, do I have them refurbed in black or keep them a lovely silver?

I'd keep the current ones.

+1 not feelin the OZ's mate.
-
Yeah keep your current ones...
-
current ones do look better imo but the oz will be better wheels, lighter/stronger etc

I'm getting bored of my current ones, they are ten a penny (there is nothing wrong with, very smart wheels) and I just want to make mine a little more unique. As you say the weight and strength, kind of why I am considering it! Plus they are worth alot more than my current ones and I'm getting the swap for nothing!

According to that site they weight 11kgs each...is that heavy or light? I don't know the weight of my current ones!
-
11kg isn't particularly light. Probs not much difference in weight between them and yours tbh.

OZ ST is a classic
looks bab on mk4 tho :undecided:

Most reps are around 12 or 13 kg, OZ's are a better wheel but do not suit a mk4.
-
your car, you decide,
me i think wayne is wrong and they do suit the mk4
-
I love OZ's
An old member of the MK4 section (Ivor) had a set on his refurbed in gunmetal I believe
Reps are crap and heavy

Slightly off topic, but, what is the difference between split rim, 1 cast etc, the rotiforms seem to come in a variety of different ways to be made. But how do the different types affect the weight?
I am kinda swayed by em...I'm trying to imagine them in black :lipsrsealed:

After ringing around I was getting quotes from £200 - £400 to refurb the 4 alloys and £50 to swap the tyres over...I am going to stick with what I have got and get some proper gucci ones when Mr bankbalance can properly afford it
