Title: m3 16v gearbox mount question

Iv'e just noticed that my mates rear gearbox mount on his 96 model 16v is shot.Am i right in thinking that this is the correct one ?.

Ooops,should have added it's the rear one on the passenger side  :smiley:

Yes that is the correct one. You shouldn't need anything else apart from your tools and a trolley jack to lift the gearbox up, its a really easy job to tackle.

Just an update.The link i gave in my opening post is not the correct one for a 16v.

Iv'e now had a reply from the seller (after 5 days !!!!!!) and they tell me the correct one is :-

£35 for a gearbox mount is crazy. all mounts are the same for all engines, the 16v and vr6 used to be uprated but as far as febi or other decent brands go they are all the same.

As said contact tierod69, I got all 3 mounts from him for £50 when doing my 20vt, all were febi and still going strong

heres what I found from a quick search
