Title: Mk4 steering wheel into mk3?

Just been given a mk4 steering wheel and column any one know how to make it fit my mk3?

You will need to mod the airbag wiring no need to change the column

i was gonna say isnt the wheel just a straight swap?

No.

The back of the wheel requires some fairly precise drilling.

I wouldn't say my drilling was precise  :grin: :grin: but it worked and looked good. Wheels now for sale  :wink:

I'm hoping this will be the sane for a audi wheel. I'm looking at getting a flat bottom one.

Mines got this mod along with a mk4 gear knob. Airbag all fine and nothing else is changed other than the wheel.
