Hi everyone I'm Deacon I live in Chester I drive a Mk1 golf 1.1 (stop laughing) soon to be a 2.0 litre 8v rocket just wanna know a little bit about everyone  :o see ya

Get a MK1 GTI engine and have it bored out to a 2L, mine it, it goes like sh*t off a shovel...

O know they are, Rich(Richazel) has been great with my MK1, enything you need to know post for rich, he is the daddy when it comes to Golfs...

Fair play deacon everyone has to start somewhere! and a MK1 is the best place to start! Im just a bit north of london and just a bit south of milton keynes of all places!

I live in sunny Scotland, work in Aberdeen. Also have a MK1, no picture yet, just finishing fitting a 16 valve with a turbo. ;) Steve.

It's a great bunch of people on here, very knowledgable and friendly, plenty of opinions too!

I'm from the Cambridgeshire, about an hour north of London.

Hi Deacon,

Welcome to the best site for anything remotely related to the Golf. I live near Southampton but am originally from Leicester. I drive a funny coloured (burgendy/brown-no that's not two tone) MkI rag top on a Y-reg. I met Rich, AdamB and JV (I think) at the VW Action summer beach party and they told me about the site then.

Good luck with the rocket and keep us all posted on the progress.
