Hi guys,
My MK4 TDI 150 has the standard Cassette player and CD changer in the boot + an additional 'Driver + Dynamic' panel. (see photo) When I press the buttons on this panel they light up accordingly but the sound doesn't actually change.
I have pulled it out and it appears to be connected properly. Is this thing attached to the stereo or the amp in the boot?
Any ideas what might be going on here?

sme as mine, its connected to the stereo, its a waste anyway, all mine does is add more echo, leave mine on pop.
driver just points the sound to the driver, but it sounds more 'tinny' this way, and dynamic is supposed to up the volume as the speed goes up (doesnt work)
you can pull the eq out and put a cubby hole in and the stereo will still work fine
or if you want it to work, check the other end of the lead is in the stereo properly, there not a very secure fit and can come out if someones pulled on a wire
