meh a good nick mk2vr might (at a push) grab £2000, a tatty one more like £1000 as long as its running ok.

I think a tidy mk2vrT might be lucky to see £2500 tops.

Thats a different kettle of fish entirely, a fully professional install with some extras plus a brand new orginal paint job that sounds to be done to a high standard and subtle. 4k would be about on the money

Plus thats a 1.8T, not a VR6.

3-4k for a nicely done 1.8T is about right, for some reason people prefer them even though they sound like a typical wheezy 4 cylinder.  :grin:

i though about that myself mate as it does look done to a good standard  :smiley:

I would avoid any car that uses 'fast as f_uck' in the description, it isntantly sets my bell end alarm off

i know this car and know he as spent a lot of time and money on it and really looks after it i dont know the chap personally but there aint to many mk2 golf around here and i know the ones that are  :smiley:

not at all as i dont know the owner i just know the car personally i would not buy it as its not my cup of tea lets say my best mate is a mk2 fanatic as been all his life and everyone of them as ended up in pieces it kind of puts you off no matter what as been done to them  :laugh:

Don't get me wrong, I really like yours and can see the amount of work which has gone in, but I think the big engine market has collapsed  :sad: so the ceiling price for a good conversion isn't what it used to be
