Title: any info on 2.ol 8v conv for Mk1

Hello everyone at Golf GTI I'm a new member to this site hope you are all fine!
    Iam trying to gather as much info together on 2.0l 8v conv for a mk 1, the only thing i have decided is to use the block from the Audi 80/100 any one with knowlege of this conversion let me know I'm desperate cheers peeps

Is it the 1.1 you are converting to a 2.0l?
