I am just about to upgrade front and rear brake setup and can't decide which colour to paint calipers? Car is black with silver wheels. Thinking black or silver to look standard, or maybe red I just can't decide!!! So gonna let the vote decide for me!
-
red gets my vote  but guess silver could look good to  black would look like you aint done them so depends whether you want them to stand out or not
-
What sort of wheels and suspension you got? I do think it looks a bit OTT with everything standard.
-
Red, black or green

No i just think it looks poor especially on standard brakes, why advertise the fact you have standard brakes

heres mine in green which i love, yes we have standard brakes but why not paint them i have £700 wheels and having rusty nasty calipers behing them just isnt a good look, as said you either go suttle or in your face, i had a grey calibra and colour was akward so i painted mine gold which was classy im nearly 40 now and have gone for green re-living my youth i think but i like them out of all colours you chose it would be red i think as looks nice on black.

Cheers you cannot buy the paint from Skoda but asking on the forum got me the answer, it is a very close match, only problem is you need to buy a big tin, I have loads left.

The link on eBay I posted really is good stuff dries without brush marks and goes on lovely, only needs two coats and dries very shiny and really lasts, the brightest caliper paint I've used and stays bright for years highly recommended if you want the red also enough to do them twice.
