Rusty brake discs!! When i've spent ALL DAY cleaning, polishing, sealing and waxing the first time i touch the brake my gleaming Monzas get a brown dusting!! :angry: I've tried taking it for a quick spin between washing and drying but it's a ball ache really!

Last time a bird had managed to land it's excrement right in the groove where the rear window meets the bodywork making it almost impossible to reach and clean, fun times.

all part of having a clean car... apparently birds like to poo over water, so when they cant find any near by (when you gotta go you gotta go) they pick a nice clean reflective car as the next best thing :cool:

When my car is parked at home it sits behind a red merc and that always seem to get the birds attentions rather than my candy white...
I guess it's just lucky!!

Don't even joke. You should have the seen the amount of sponges that were being sold at UD this year, was dreadful. Filled me with anger.

ThiNg that annoys me the most... My fu*king sister picking up a bucket of water after cleaner her car and as good as dropping it onto the boot of my Jetta :angry: it didn't stay there very long and a few choice words were said!!

Vandals has to be top of the list. Would probably end up in guantanamo bay for the bad things i'd do to them if i found the swine who keyed my boot 3 times in one sitting. Still was an excuse to do some wetsanding,
bird poo is my next least favourite. They feathered feckers dont even have the decency to land so my cat can maul them for me. :angry: I think i'll invest in a birdfeeder...
The dirt dust tar etc is just a fact of life really so just deal with those

Very rarely get bird droppings on mine [it's garaged anyway] but dust is a major annoyance :sad: and so is washer water from the dummy in front who should have cleaned their windscreen before setting off :angry:. [On a dry day]
What really does my head in though is when you've spent a long time getting your car looking immaculate and it rains soon after; ruining all your hard work as soon as you drive.

is there any way you can hook up a hefty battery and a remote control to make the roof live when you press the button on the remote from your house... that'll soon stop the fcuker walking on your car

Totally agree, take yesterday for example...we took both the golf and aygo over to the mrs's sisters as she has a drive way, I immediately started on mine but also had plans to do the aygo too but she(my mrs) got huffy when I said I wudnt have time to do here's aswel as I was taking my time doing mine, I must say tho she does look v nice when all wax'd up! :smiley:

Most annoing thing for me is just as I've finished and put it away in the garage it rains. Lucky. I think to myself, then the misses rings "babe I've got no money and can't get the bus" Great, now I have to do a return trip of 30 miles in the rain after spending 40 mins on each wheel :angry:

i get that all the time! i don;t know why but it really p*ss*s me off! feel like saying yea that's only about the 20th time i've heard that now feck off! :grin:
but my worst gripe is definantly the rain! normally give the car a good going over when its nice out and then as soon as i'm done it chucks it down! typical!
as for the vandals, i owned an audi a3 1.8t not long ago which was literally immaculate, not 1 mark on it due to me and the previous owner looking after it well, some lil t**t decided it'd be fun to pour nail polish over every single panel! took all day to remove with nail polish remover(without the chemical that destroys paint in it,can;t remember what its called now) to get it out, and as of late, the other week, me and the missus was going out to the cinema i got in the car, and when she delayed opening her door i undone the window and said what's up only to find her cringed faced saying some1 has thrown dog sh!t all down the side of the car!

Im quite lucky in that sense as my mrs is well used to me cleaning the cars, my kids annoy me by rubbing there hands all over the windows after I've cleaned them.

Well i washed my car on the thursday as it was dry for once but then this morning when i woke up it looked like the pigeons thought it was a public toilet. It looked like a Dalmatian.
Had to clean it in the rain! :angry:

I haven't read the whole thread so don't know if this has been mentioned yet but one thing I hate after I've spent hours detailing my car is:-
Coming out to find my fooking neighbours cat sat on my roof :shocked: Then to make it worse, I chased it off and it clawed the paintwork so at half 7 at night thats me getting out my DA and cutting compounds to see if I could get the scratches out.
Even worse than that is then the cats fooking owner comes out to get in her car and says "Jesus, you still on with your car?" I explained to her a very calm manner, which took so doing, about the cat on the roof and the scratches. She comes back with "Ah, I have the same scratches, I wondered where they had come from". She then laughed and got in her car :huh:
Yeah, laugh it up b!tch. You won't be laughing when I get my hands on the most highest powered air rifle I can find :evil:

If you want to return the favour you can borrow my fairly large dog and place him on the top of her car. i dont think she will be laughing once she sees him!
Also woke up this morning and found that pigeons had left another present on my car for my birthday! Cheers!!! :angry:
