You may have more luck asking on the mk5 forum as the edition 35 uses the same older unit as the edition 30 mk5. Theres bound to be a welth of knowledge about what works on that engine over there.

Thanks will do...

I'll be interested to know if anyone has fitted this CAI on the 2.0 TSI GTI (not Ed35)

I fitted the Carbonio on mine the same time i put Milltek on, no nasty induction roars with this kit, the only time you can hear it is in built up areas were you can hear it quietly sucking away, and when giving it some and lift off you get a nice dumping sound coming back through the filter,
The Carbonio is the only filter i've used on my last 3 cars so i can't compare it to any others ? Would i buy one for my next car....Yes i would

can't comment on the carbonio but im not impressed with my dabble into the world of GTI intakes. will be sticking with the standard air box/foam panel filter/silencer grid removed.
IMO the car runs smoother with the standard air box, especially at lower rpm and the sound is better.

I have an ITG intake on mine and it seems to do the business. Doesn't feel as "throttled" at the higher RPMs. That's with a Stage 1 bluefin.
