Title: golf mk2 wiring loom

this connector is in the engine bay , it seems to be going back to the wiper motor then in a big bunch to the fusebox ?, can anyone tell me what this plugs for , as im doing a engine conversion and need to know .

Looks like the ISV plug for the unit above the ECU...

what does that control ? , also is this and the other part of the loom connected the bit with all the sensors on ?

I should have said TCI unit which is the Ignition control. It should plug in to the box that sits on top of the ecu bracket
