im about to buy this..http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-Alloy-Oil-Catch-Tank-Can-10mm-15mm-Inlets-VW-Polo-Golf-Bora-Jetta-GTi-/360442541907?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Car+Make%3AVW%7CModel%3AGolf&hash=item53ec0cb753

the big thing i have is im unsure what pipes i remove and what pipes i block off also where the new pipes will go
any pics would be great i have the agu engine 99 model
i have just replaced the elbow under the tb at a cost of £25 can i still use this with the catch can??

youl need around 2 meters of 19mm Id heat/oil proof hosing
19mm T piece
x2 19mm-15mm reducers
small lenth of 15mm id heat/oil proof hosing
-
if it does not come with 19mm fittings you will also need 15mm pipe closest i found was 16mm which should be fine
i will be putting a few pics up of my install later as i had same can but modified it
-
how about fitting it???
what pipes come off the car and which ones do you need to block up

same can i have, get 16mm pipe about 1mtr and 2mtr 19mm also get 1 19-16mm reducer,on one of the 15mm outlets wrap some electrical tape round it to make it wider for the 19mm pipe,i made my own bracket for it and attached it to the bracket that holds the 249 valve underneath

take off the plastic cover and you will see it its the only pipe under there

basically right behind dipstick, get a piece of pipe with a bolt in it or something similar,i think you can actually buy silicone end caps but you won't see it so no point really

Bolt in original pipe did it for me..

I had a bolt in mine next thing I hear is it bouncing round the engine bay and watch it bounce off the road in the rear view mirror!!!
-
 i put a bolt in mine and then put jubilee clip around it to secure
-
On my second Mani once I polished it up I tapped a thread into it and jb welded a bolt into it!!!
(wish I didn't though as after that I done n249 bypass so could have used it for that)
