hi i have been offered a Splitter, a Recirculation and Blow Off Valve as in that thread tink i might give it a go can always remove it and sell it on again as far as i know its come off a rear ended golf and only done about 10k since fitted

Stick with a Forge 007p, wiill be fine and not cause you any issues unlike a dump valve.
-
will the other cause problems? have also looked at a 007p was just offered this one cheap

also forgot to add am i right in saying the 007p is very quiet??

Quieter than some Jap car running 500bhp yes.... 1.8 20VT's don't like having all their excess boost pressure released, it's designed to run with a recirculating (diverter) valve so I believe the 007p is your best shot without upsetting the motor.

Yes it is, but any normal dump valve with cause you hassles.

I have the 007p for my mk4 gti and it's fairly loud when using the turbo. Not excessive but you get looks when you give it some
