ive never been keen on these as my sisters ex once left a huge patch of undercoat bare on the bonnet of her volvo after i assume was over working it
i dont want to spend a fortune as it wont be used regularly.. just wanted to see if it would do the job for a novice?
thanks in advance

A decent dual action sander can be had for ~£100 with pads. That polisher is turd. Not sure if it would be up to the job...

DO NOT PURCHASE
for the same money you could buy some decent clay, lube, hand polish and microfibres and end up with better finish
you risk marring your paintwork with one of these machines, with no speed control and such a large polishing area you are asking for all sorts of trouble
you are much much better off saving your pennies and waiting until you can afford to buy a decent dual action polisher with good pads and polishes

Green furry stuff? Do you mean mould?
Apply some TFR or APC over the area and agitate with a detail brush.. Then jetwash and it should come straight off.
If you are using a garage forecourt jetwash do not use the brush lance.
You can also apply the same technique to door shuts and around boot and bonnet hinge areas which are another mould and dirt collection point.

cool thanks,, but no idea what TFR or APC are :undecided:
