Can anything be done to a mk3 16v p reg engine?
For extra ommer???
I notice alot of japanese cars with the same engine can get 200 bhp. It would be nice to hit this mark if possible.

What do you mean a lot of jap cars with the same engine?

Don't expect massive gains over 5bhp with mapping. It will just give you a more responsive throttle and smoother power delivery.

To get 200bhp you will need a budget of thousands to tweak the ABF or otherwise consider a 1.8t conversion.
