Well was a early start to go see 'ARD' so he could help me with this

A lot more complicated than I thourt . No way a Sunday mechanic could do this . Well I couldn't as it involves re pinning the ecu and I don't do electrics

out of interest how much did you pay? wanting cruise controll in my car but dont fancy paying the rediculous prices vw charge :D (pm me if you dont want to be putting it in the thread)

Tbh if ur not confident with electrics I would stay clear . Re pinning of ecu looked quite tricky. And also repinning of connectors under dash was fiddly.  Stripping down was easy enough tho
