Title: vw built in satnav in a mk4

hi i have a 99 t reg golf gti 1.8t and found this satnav just want to know if it would just go in and work or would i have to put a loom in for it to work

think it just plugs in but could be wrong, if so it would only need adaptor.

however you also need the antenna for the satnav to work and also the satnav dvd.

Im sure you can get it to fit with adaptors im not 100% on that  :undecided:

You can get versions from china on ebay that have betetr nav usb sd and much more functionality for that price bud just as a suggestion... they were good in there time but very dated bits of kit IMO

ok thanks fellars,i just want to liven my dash up a bit,is the antena on the screen? as mine could do with being changed and can get the antena screen for cheap as i work for a windscreen firm

the sat nav system is renowned for being a bit poo on the mk4 platform...
