as above.

possibly tight because the last person might not have oiled the seal. just twist it as hard as you can even if you were going the wrong way i doubt youde be able to twist it hard enough to do damage.

i did that first time i serviced car after being told it would be really tight, got oil all over my face :sick:

this time i did it with just my hands, if its been well oiled you can normally get them off with hands

if all else fails the screwdriver always works a treat  :grin:

I have a proper tool for filters as they can be a right PITA :angry:

what a day 2 hours to get the oil filter off :cry:
all done now thank god

i did replace the elbow oil breather pipe as well does antone know if there should have been a o ring in the hole or does the pipe just sit in the hole with the clip through it to hold it in???
car done now seem alot smoother but my boost peaks at 6psi when in second gear at 4000 rpm does that sound rite???
standard car no remap as yet!!

I use k&n filter has nut in end of filter just turn that. Oil over your face funny that, any pics??? :grin:
