Title: help 1986 GTI fuel pump ?

 help car packed up on way to work it deffo has fuel in it
fuel pump not running
i have renewed the lift pump in the tank , it has a feed with ign. on
but neither pump running

does the pump in the wheelarch only have a feed when cranking ?

any clues as which relay it is help stuck at work with no manual
