Not really, if you look at what you get and the construction materials & build quality and the 1 year next business day on-site warranty (upgradable to 3 years for £200 odd quid) - not having to take it into a store or send it off for a couple weeks. Makes sense to me
-
very similar to the one I got recently... xps14. Not as thin but just as powerful with a 256ssd. Great machine but i needed the inbuilt cd drive otherwise would have got one of these.
-
also a max xof 4gb ram.... ahhhh that now makes me feel a little better
-
4Gb ram is enough for most people and the edge to edge screen is superb. Now to convince my MD to get me one for my

Good luck with that jay
I am very impressed with mine so far... runs like a dream and is so quick to boot also

Wow!! Soooo impressive. What I always wanted the Air to be.
My work is looking to get an Air as our on-call laptop.. One of these is now top of my recommendation list!!
-
how much is that thing of beauty? the website made my Mac Pro dual Xeon with 14Gb RAM fire up it's fans as if it was about to take off and I couldn't get down to the price at the bottom. Must be the Flash video.
-
Flash does have a habbit of doing that  but the buy button is in the top right corner
They'll be starting at around £949 - but you can also trade in your old computer to get up to £150 off.
-
Can you trade 'anything' in?
-
Depends on what model you are purchasing on how much trade in they'll give you, you can even trade in scanners!

I've got a REALLY old Dell laptop knocking around under the sofa.
-
I wouldnt bother with trade in.. when you read the finer points they run you through a process to value your old machine. I have an 2yr old sony laptop (paid around £500) with decent enough spec for most, which they valued at around £35
-
Lol, this old Dell I have is something like a Pentium 500, 256MB RAM
