Title: HELP mk4 gt tdi not running right

hi guys new on here. so hello lol.
any ways the problem is when i set of hes very jercky and kicks out lots of black smoke. and then he gose ok. and when your crusing at say 40 or 50 or 60 or any speed really. its like the clutch gose in on its own and he rev's up a little (about 5 sec is longist so far). and then it will go back to normal, kicks out lots of back smoke at the same time ? but if you give it beans it ok all the time!

can any one help
ive already put a new air filter, fuel filter and glow plugs in him, o and clean the egr valve out as best i could with out with out taking it off.

Could be a boost pipe that has popped off. What car do you have? The lower boost pipes on the 130's & 150's pop off at will. Have a look around the engine, and underneath where the radiator and intercooler is to see if there is anything out of the ordinary. Black smoke it normally a sign of a boost leak.

its the 110. ive had a look but the all look ok the is a hiss but there is a slite hole in the flexy on the cat pipe.

If there was a turbo pipe off there would be a significant loss of power. Engine management light on. And probably going into limp home.

Take it to a garage so they can plug in a diagnostic machine to check for fault codes. Then go from there.

Could be something simple, could be the turbo on its way out..  :undecided:

hay guys got it sorted it was the egr valve. got a delete kit on now.
