Just been offerd these off a mate for 150
Egles f1s 215/40/17.
Set of 4 all 6-7mm
what you think? Never had these before. they good tyres? Worth the price he asking? How long will they last?
( i am going to do a little research into them myself but thought i may aswell post a topic get some first hand experience ect.
for 150 it dont seem too bad to me...

i used to run eagle f1'a on the mk3... very good tyres
not sure how much tread that relates to though?

yeah they seem cheep just not sure how long they will last being second hand, what do tyres normally come with new 8mm?
just dont want to buy them then end up having to buy new ones after next winter when the wheels go on again

Most new tyres come with approx 8mm of tread so those are hardly worn in :smiley:

I presume they are the same width etc as what you've currently got? Otherwise you're speedo will be out :nerd:

Currently on my tt comps i belive i have 225/40/17 on the two and 195/40/17 on the other two.
Will defo get them out of the attick to check but i belive they should fit iirc
