Title: Hi - Newbie from North West

Been lurking on here for a while and decided to join in the fun and banter.

Currently driving a Megane dci 120 and hoping to change shortly to a nice gti 1.8T with the goal of tuning it and maintaining it. Seen some good inspirations on here which has given me some good ideas. Next step is to find a suitable car for the right price and i can get stuck in.

Car deal done - pick up a 78k 1.8T on 53 plate next Tuesday. Its silver. 5 door and is as standard as they come. Will put up some pics after she arrives.

Hi bud, thanks. I work in Appleton near Warrington but I live in Ashton-in-Makerfield near to Wigan.

Nice break in the weather so decided to give the VW a clean.
Always a downer to notice some of the slight imperfections, a scratch here a stone chip.
But still looks kinda nice.. really like the silver at the moment.

Oh and found this - explains the jumpy idle. Pipe fitted today, aftermarket silicon part from CreationsMotorSport.
Cleared the Error codes, and now okay..
