Hi people, quick question..

Drilled my airbox the other day following the Wakbox mod on the TT forum, I think it sounds horrendous. What I want to know is, will the bottom of an AGU airbox fit the top of my AUM airbox? I know the AGU's have an ignition amp but im not sure where it is. I'm only asking as you seem to be able to pick up an AGU airbox for alot less than an AUM one for some reason.

ignition amp is on the side of the air box mate as for fitting yours i aint got a clue sorry  :smiley:

Is it in the top half or the bottom half? If its in the top im guessing it will be okay, as the pipercross panel filters fit all 1.8t's.

Sorry mate but I'll just end up with a bit of plastic to sell!  I could be wrong in saying that they generally go for around 30, so if you want it you can have it for 15. Only fair to say that as with an old part, box is very tidy but the rubber around the intake hole is coming off slightly.  To be expected with age!!

If you 2 want to come to some agreement then I don't mind who has what! Postage though is surely going to be around £5.
Only thing is will say is that until I see beer tokens for both, I'm no getting stuck  with half a plastic box!
