I picked her up yesterday 2002 astra coupe turbo bertone 61000 miles on the clock black with red leather loving it pics to follow tomoro

gd luck with the astra coupe mate as had one my self an did not last long as head gaskets go on them plus loads more an r never the same after u fix them.  :sad:

You get what you pay for with them, my mate has a gsi and the only things that have gone wrong in 4 years is a coilpack and an air flow meter.

My other friend however once bought a cheap dog coupe turbo and he ended up spending a small fortune on it then he wrote it off, I was a happy man that day as I was sick of him phoning me saying something else had gone wrong on it

Personally would never swap a VW for a Vauxhall but then not really had any problems with my MK4

Had a couple of astras now mate, never had a single problem. Don't know why everyone gives them a bad name, however I'm selling mine now for a GTi :smiley:

Heard a story about one of these once. Apparently got 340BHP or something. Think the B stands for bull.

Apparently he had it up at 140 coming onto a motorway round a bend, had the back out and when he pulled straight went past an M3 he was racing.

You can get around 300 with vxr kids this is my second astra and im loving it I wanted a coupe with a blower so perfect for me
