Title: Gearbox ratio's

I'm fitting a MK2 gearbox into my MK1 cabrio.
I have just looked at the gear ratio's and have noted that 1-4 gear ratio's are the same. However, 5th and final drive are different:-

Mk1: 5th is 0.91 and FD is 3.65
Mk2: 5th is 0.89 and FD is 3.67

Does anyone know what that means in terms of actually driving the car i.e will I notice any difference?

Oh well, its nearly all done now so hopefully I'll be able to answer the question myself.  :-/
