Hi guys,
I have been advised by the wise at Autohaus Dolby to get a gearbox for Oak green. She is a 1992 8-valver with some choice (and some not-so-choice) mods, but I guess the most important one in this context is the Quaife ATB diff. I am new to the mk2-ownership scene, and have a few questions for the wise of golfgtiforum:
1. What 'boxes are available to me? i.e. what codes can will fit?
2. Is there one that will best accommodate the diff?
3. I plan to get a 'box and refurbish it before it goes in, is there any point in buying a minter if this is my intention?
Your help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance,
James.
