As i said in the other thread, i sent the V5, they say they havent received it, its all my fault.... come on loophole finders! get to it!
And this is all still after my hoo ha with the bailiff

It's the DVLA.
You're screwed. Pay up and request a new V5C, at your new address and pay the £25 of whatever it is for this.
If it's any consolation, I think they're c*nts too.

Exactly what i said in the other thread but alas the geniuses came out. I dont want a new V5C as i sold the car in DEC 10 but is that the process, that i have to order another and fill it out again?

If you sent the log book off the law states as soon as you have posted it it becomes their property.
Have a Google, couple of threads on it.

I got sent court papers after loosing my rag when they claimed not to have received a change of keeper when I sold the mk2.

Well don't keep us in suspense, you tease.
-
Sorry to get you hyped up and let you down but I paid the £30 fine after my mate went through the same thing and took it to court and got a £800 fine even when he had a signed for postal slip.
They get you by saying you need to chase them after X amount of weeks.

Only trouble with that is it just says you get one, not chase it.
-
I sent bellend 500 quid in used notes in the post just the other week.
-
"I trust you to send it off now!"
After recieving a large wad of cash in hand.
All I see is Bling Bling notes, too bright my eyes

How come it turned up at my place then?

Interesting read this thread.......confirms what I said in the original thread. If someone is too lazy to chase the confirmation letter then they deserve the fine

always send anything to those kants at dvla by recorded delivery-its signed for,so its their fecking problem if they 'lose' it.end of.
think about it-if they pick say 1 in 50 people, and use the 'we never recieved it' routine = ker'ching!!
or am i just a old cynic? having been stung by those welsh wayne kerrs,im of the opinion that its a scam,as it happens to often.

From previous experience, it make feck all difference. Proved it still got fined
Can't stand them, they can all die from fumes from all the cars they claimed to have not received forms from as far as I am concerned. (the ones that make the rules that is, not the average bod that works there)

THIS is why i always post things that are important by recorded post. Only costs 70p more and is worth it. As they have to sign for it it normally comes back quickly too as it gets to where it needs to be.
I sent my V5 of to change address and had a new one in 4 days!

As I said, it makes no difference signed or not. They are to55ers.
