Title: Silly question 145

As I have a double din head unit and had to replace the cage in order to have the double din in and was an idiot and binned the other one....can I just add a shelf in order to return back to orginial or do I need to re buy an entire single head unit cage?

standard head unit doesent use a radio cage, the head unit is made to clip in...

So I'll have to buy a new one then in order to return it back to normal?
